On July 1, 2025, the Modi government provided some financial relief by reducing the prices of LPG cylinders. The price cut applies specifically to 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders, with a reduction of up to ₹58.50. However, there has been no revision in the cost of 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinders.

This move is expected to benefit sectors like hospitality, as commercial cylinders are widely used in hotels, restaurants, and by small businesses.

As per the latest update on Indian Oil’s official website, the revised price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi is now ₹1,665, down from ₹1,723.50. In Mumbai, the price has decreased from ₹1,674.50 to ₹1,616. Meanwhile, domestic LPG cylinder prices remain unchanged across all cities.
