Good news for women waiting for Anganwadi job openings in Uttar Pradesh! The state government is planning to recruit around 69,000 Anganwadi positions soon. This includes 7,952 Anganwadi workers and 61,254 Anganwadi assistants. To oversee the recruitment process, a committee headed by the District Magistrate has been set up in every district.
The Directorate of Child Development and Nutrition, UP has also issued the necessary guidelines. According to these, details about district-wise vacant posts will be published on the official recruitment portal upanganwadibharti.in. The official notification will be released once this data collection process is completed.
Eligibility for Anganwadi Recruitment
Only women will be eligible to apply for this UP Anganwadi recruitment. Therefore, women wishing to join Anganwadis can now prepare their documents in advance. The educational qualification is 12th grade pass. The age limit should be between 18 and 35 years. Applicants are eligible to apply only from the Gram Panchayat (rural area)/Ward (urban area) of their residence. If a Gram Panchayat/Gram Sabha does not have candidates in any category, the selection for the relevant posts will be based on the rules of the Nyaya Panchayat.
Married women can apply only on the basis of a residence certificate from their in-laws. Selection for Anganwadi positions will be based on their intermediate, graduation, and post-graduation marks, without any examination. Women over 50 years of age will not be eligible for this recruitment. If any assistant has been negligent in her work and has taken unauthorized leave of more than three months, then she will not be eligible to apply for this recruitment.
50 percent of the posts of Anganwadi workers will be filled through the currently working Anganwadi helpers. In such a situation, in the district where the posts of Anganwadi workers are vacant, helpers who have worked for five years in the urban and Gram Sabha wards of that rural area will be able to apply for it. In this Anganwadi recruitment, preference will be given to divorced, widowed or abandoned women from families living below the poverty line. If not available in the Gram Panchayat, the Nyaya Panchayat will make the selection for this recruitment.
