If a student falls short of passing marks by a small margin, JKBOSE provides Grace Marks to help them pass.

Here’s what you need to know:

• Students failing in 1 or more subjects by up to 5 marks can be given the required marks to pass.
• These marks are not added to total or subject score; they are only for passing the exam.
• Grace marks do not apply to practical exams or internal assessments.
• This provision ensures students don’t fail just by a small margin.
