Block Medical Officer Mattan ASHA Worker Recruitment 2025 – Apply for Vacancies in Kehribal & Srongsoo
The Block Medical Officer (BMO) Mattan has announced vacancies for female candidates to serve as ASHA Workers under the National Health Mission (NHM). These positions will be filled on the basis of performance and honorarium, and the recruitment is restricted to candidates belonging to the designated villages/hamlets of Block Mattan.

Selection Process
The selection of ASHA workers will be:
- Area-specific, restricted to the concerned village/hamlet.
- Conducted by the concerned VHSNC (Village Health Sanitation & Nutrition Committee).
Nature of Engagement
- The ASHA engagement is purely honorary and not a permanent government job.
- At the time of joining, the selected candidate must submit an affidavit sworn before a First-Class Magistrate, stating she will not claim permanent absorption in the future.
- All decisions made by the funding agency (NHM J&K under JK Health Department) will be final.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the ASHA Worker posts, the applicant must:

- Be a married female candidate.
- Be a domicile of the concerned village/hamlet (Kehribal Saddar Mohalla or Srongsoo).
- Have a minimum qualification of Matric (10th pass).
