Class 10 Results Likely in Second Week of January, Says Sakina Itoo; Class 11 & 12 Results to Follow Subsequently
Srinagar, Jan 01: Education Minister Sakina Itoo on Thursday announced that the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) is expected to declare the results of the Class 10 annual regular examinations for 2025 in the second week of January.
In a statement to the news agency Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Itoo said that the Class 10 results are most likely to be released during the second week of January. She added that the results for Classes 11 and 12 will be announced shortly after the declaration of the Class 10 results, as the board has decided to prioritize the Class 10 outcome first.
It is worth noting that more than 94,000 students appeared in the Class 10 annual regular examinations, which began on November 3 across the Kashmir division. For the smooth conduct of the exams, the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education had established 994 examination centers throughout the region.
BOSE had said that 68,804 students enrolled for the annual regular exams of 10th are from ten districts of Kashmir division and 25,224 students are from eight districts of winter zone areas of Jammu division.
Besides, the board had also informed that at least 660 from Kargil and 95 from Leh district were also enrolled for the examinations.
Earlier, BOSE Secretary had said that nearly 95,000 students were enrolled to appear for 10th class exams and the board has made 994 exam centers for them—(KNO)
