LPG Price Cut: LPG prices cut, know the new price from Delhi to Lucknow
LPG Price Update:
Several changes took effect in India on December 1, including revisions to LPG cylinder prices. Reports indicate that domestic LPG cylinder rates have not been reduced. However, commercial LPG cylinders have become cheaper by ₹10, offering some relief to businesses.
After this cut, the price of a 19 kg commercial cylinder in Delhi has decreased from ₹1590.50 to ₹1580. In Kolkata, the new price is ₹1684, down from ₹1694. In Mumbai, commercial cylinder prices now stand at ₹1531.50, compared to ₹1542 earlier. In Chennai, the price has been revised from ₹1750 to ₹1739.50.
Meanwhile, domestic LPG cylinder rates remain unchanged as of December 1. The price of a 14.2 kg cylinder continues to be ₹853 in Delhi. Other cities also maintain last month’s prices: ₹852.50 in Mumbai, ₹890.50 in Lucknow, ₹985.50 in Kargil, ₹969 in Pulwama, and ₹890.50 in Bageshwar.
It is noteworthy that the cost of a 14.2 kg domestic cylinder also stayed the same in the previous month. Earlier in April, domestic LPG prices were increased by ₹50 per cylinder.
Public-sector fuel companies—Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL)—revise LPG and ATF prices on the first day of each month based on the average global benchmark fuel prices and currency exchange rates.
